Build Buddy to represent Australia in global competition

Australia’s representative to the upcoming Startup World Cup Finals has been revealed during the recently concluded Startup&Angels Investor Week 2024, with start-up Build Buddy emerging as the winner.

Conceived by Danny Assabgy, Build Buddy is an all-in-one communication and management platform that has been designed to provide complete control over the home-building process.

“Danny and the Build Buddy team have shown extraordinary potential. Their innovative approach will undoubtedly make Australia proud in San Francisco,” said Leo Denes, Founder of Startup&Angels and Australiance Group.

With the victory, the Build Buddy team will head to San Francisco to represent Australia in the Startup World Cup Finals in October, which is considered as one of the premier global platforms for showcasing cutting-edge global innovation  

This global competition, organised by American VC firm Pegasus Tech Ventures, is also considered the largest start-up competition in the world, with a $1 million investment prize at stake. The ven is also expected to draw over 50,000 attendees, including 2,500 investors and 500 speakers
