Showpo launches Future Female Founders program

The program will provide networking opportunities besides helping launch selected business.

Australian e-commerce brand Showpo has launched the Future Female Founders program, providing one female university or college student with opportunities to build their business idea.

Showpo CEO and Shark Tank judge Jane Lu will mentor the selected individual to help nurture a new generation of female entrepreneurs.

The non-profit educational program will include a $5000 grant to help fund and launch the selected individual’s business and an internship across Showpo’s product, marketing, logistics, digital, people and culture teams.

The program will also provide networking opportunities with other aspiring entrepreneurs, industry professionals and Showpo’s leadership team.

The program has begun rolling out to universities, including Central Queensland University, the University of Adelaide, and the University of Victoria, with more to come.
