Tom Valcanis

Tom Valcanis is a copywriter at I Sell Words and Head of Digital PR Smith Brothers Media. Formerly a freelance journalist (Fairfax/Nine mastheads, The Big Issue, etc.), he’s worked with small, medium, and ASX 200 listed companies on marketing and communications. He was editor of music magazine Hysteria from 2014-2020. He is also the co-author of the dating book Balding Overweight Sex Machine, with Garth Lategan. He has published scholarly articles on media and communication in the ETC. Journal of General Semantics.
